Our commitment
Why community matters to us.
Affordable housing exists to provide stable, safe housing to people who need it. Compliance work, done well, is part of how that mission is sustained. Errors that lead to material noncompliance don't just affect owners. They affect the housing supply itself.
Some of the most impactful affordable housing work is done by small, mission-driven nonprofits operating without compliance capacity. Other compliance professionals are working their way up in the field and need accessible learning resources. The industry as a whole benefits when knowledge flows freely between practitioners.
Altus invests in all three through the work below.
Featured program
The Altus Annual Partner Program.
Each year, Altus selects one mission-aligned nonprofit affordable housing organization to receive a full year of compliance services at no cost. The partnership includes a comprehensive assessment, ongoing file review, training, and direct compliance support across twelve months.

Sharing what we learn.
